Program competitions
This Festival will start on Saturday the 1th December with a MIXED PAIRS TOURNAMENT. In this tournament of three sessions (Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, Sunway afternoon) pairs formed by two ladies will be acceptable. The movement type will be Mitchell, ie. pairs sitting in North / South will not move. The results of the first session(*) will be added to those of the second and final session on Sunday. The prizes, worth a total of 3800 € (1000 € for the winners) will be distributed so that not only the winners will benefit.
On Monday 3th, Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th December will be played at the Sunway bridge by TEAMS. We expect a great participation, you can start to form teams of 4 (max.6 per team). 4500€ in cash prizes.
On Thursday, December the 6th, we will organize a fun Bridge Tournament, same sex pairs will compete against each other. The intention will be to provide caps of the same color to all the Ladies and of another color to all the Knights. In addition to the competition element of the Bridge, we will spend a pleasant afternoon that we will record with some beautiful photos. Total of 1070 € cash prizes not only for winners, pairs finishing close to 50%, 45% and 40% will have right to a prize too.
The main event of the Bridge Festival will be OPEN PAIRS with a total of 6.150 € in prizes! We start on Friday the 7th at 5:00 pm, followed by Saturday the 8th at 5 pm and the last session will be held on Sunday 9th at 11 am. The movement type will be Mitchell and the results for the 3 days are cumulative. The Festival closes in the afternoon with the awards and a farewell cocktail.

(*) Participation in the first Mixed Pairs session is optional. However, those who participate can add the result to the 2 sessions that follow if it favors them.
Example:
1st session: 55%
2nd session: 50%
3rd session: 45%
Average final result of 3 sessions: 50%
If the result of the 1st session was 40%, it would not be taken into account since it does not favor him, being the final result (50+45) / 2 = 47,5%
